Sometimes it is not possible to quantify the work and you might want me to work on an hourly basis rather than per document basis. In such cases I charge $40 per hour.
There are different rates for different portions of your website. For instance content for the homepage, services, products, etc. is basically a mixture of content writing and copywriting so you are not just informing, you are also trying to sell.
For homepage, irrespective of how many words it contains (upper limit 600 words) I charge $65.
For the rest of the pages in the top navigation bar (whichever pages require content from me) I charge $45 (300-500 words) per page.
For information articles on your business website I charge $30 per page (300-500 words)
For technical blog posts (information technology, technology, web design, programming, etc.) I charge $35 per blog post and for non-technical blog posts and articles I charge $20 per document.
If research is involved I will be charging $25 per hour extra for that.
